Samsung Soul is Joined by a New Silver Edition Samsung U900 Soul

The new Samsung Soul handset is being hailed as the pinnacle of the Samsung Ultra range, following in the rather large footsteps of the Samsung U600 and U700 the new Samsung U900 Soul incorporates much of the ranges technology, design and features, however this new model has some interesting tricks up its sleeve.

Falling into the 12.9 range that included the original Samsung D600 the U900 offers very similar overall dimensions, but the technology has come on in leaps and bounds with intelligent changing buttons that predict where you want to go next.

Rather than using a traditional keypad for menu browsing and selection the Samsung Soul has a four way lead display that changes as you move your way through the menu system. This new intuitive navigation function means that it is now far easier to get to where you want, which in this day and age and mobile phones offering just about every feature under the sun makes for*good sense.

The CPW group have just released an exclusive silver edition of the Samsung U900 Soul that will only be sold through their high street shops and affiliated websites including their own. This new colour variant offers exactly the same great features as the original graphite edition but comes housed in a sleek, chrome-like casing that really sets the phone off.

The Samsung Soul U900 is a classy looking slide design mobile phone, in a stainless steel shell. The handset has a 5.0 megapixel camera, with autofocus and flash, and also includes an MP3 player and Bluetooth compatibility. The U900 Soul has a solid feel and weighs nicely in the hand. A slide phone, the noticeable feature about the Soul is the addition of a touchpad style control panel on the front of the phone. It looks and feels similar to a touchpad found on a laptop PC. The Samsung Soul is a full featured 3G phone supporting HSDPA Mobile Broadband, as well as having an email client, web browser and support for Java.

A built in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus and flash, the Samsung Soul U900 takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your mobile phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog.

HSDPA on the Samsung Soul offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset. HSDPA is commonly known as Mobile Broadband. Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise.

With a built in music player in the U900 Soul, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC. There is also a Stereo FM Radio built in, you will always have access to the latest tunes on your phone. Tune in to your favourite station, whenever you want, straight from your phone.

The Samsung soul also has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch.

The new Silver edition has been initially launched on O2, Orange and T-Mobile UK networks, however there are further plans to release the handset onto pay as you go for consumers who cannot pass the network credit checks or who just do not want to sign up to a lengthy contract deal.

Although The CPW Group have the Samsung Soul Silver as an exclusive, this will be a time limited period and at some point in the future th e handset will be available for further retailers to connect.
