The Galaxy range of smart phones from Samsung has now expanded to include a very different new model, the Samsung Galaxy Note is bordering on being a tablet device but is officially classed as a large smart phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note deals have now been released on the Orange network in the UK and already offer this new Galaxy phone free of charge on some of the higher line rental deals, consumers can pick up a free Galaxy Note from £41 per month - that's the same price as the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus and iPhone 4S 16GB.
For this amount of line rental each month on the Orange Panther 42 tariff, the consumer can expect an inclusive minutes allocation of 900 which can be used at any time and to call any network including (UK landline numbers), there is also an unlimited amount of text messages to use each month as well as a substantial 1GB of data for browsing the internet, emailing and updating applications.
The confusion surrounding the correct categorisation of this latest handset is all based around the size of its touch screen, boasting a massive 5.3 inch display the Galaxy Note is homing in on tablet size but this is most definitely a smart phone when you take a closer look at the phones specifications.
The touch screen display uses the same technology found in the current Samsung Galaxy S2 and new Motorola RAZR known as Super AMOLED for a bright, sharp and crisp image even in direct sunlight, to power this huge screen and the rest of the phones features is a fast, dual core 1.4GHz processing chip, one of the fastest Samsung has ever used in a smart phone.
