Rumored Specs And Features Of The Samsung Galaxy S3

We all love the year when the dual-core was first introduced on mobile phones and tablets. We all enjoyed the dual-core smartphones released by mobile giants in the likes of Samsung, Apple, and HTC. This year, we will meet the very first smartphone that runs on a quad-core. This is the successor of the famous Samsung Galaxy S2, the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Let us now talk about the rumored specs and features of the Galaxy S3. The following are highlights of the Galaxy S3:

- 3rd Generation Super AMOLED 3D screen

- NFC Chip

- Slimmest smartphone ever

- Faster and powerful Quad-core processor

- Ultra Low SAR levels

This handset is said to come in with a whopping 4.65" 1024p HD display. It will also have a Super AMOLED 3D display. This is definitely bigger than the S2's 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus display. If the rumor is true, then this is the second largest display after the HTC Bass which boasts a 4.7" display. This on the other hand will be the first to have a 1024p HD display.

The handset is said to come out with a whopping 10MP camera. It comes with LED flash, Auto-focus, and 1080p HD video recording capabilities at 60 frames per second. This is an improved camera than the S2's 8MP and 1080p at 30 frames per second.

The best rumored feature so far is its Quad-Core 2.0GHz processor. If the LG Optimus 2X won the title as the first smartphone with a dual-core processor, can this mean that Samsung can bag the title of the first smartphone with a Quad-core processor? Well, let us just wait and see. Aside from that, it comes with 1.5GB worth of RAM and a 32GB worth of internal memory. It says to come with expandable memory with the help of a 32GB microSD card.

Last but not the least, the Ice Cream Sandwich update hasn't arrived on the Samsung Galaxy S2 yet. But Google announced that the latest Android iteration will be a unified version on Android smartphones and tablets.

As you can see, the future looks great with the rumored specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy 3. It is an upgrade that you do not want to miss. However, all we can do now is to simply wait and see. Let us all just hope that it is sooner than soon, the Galaxy S3 will hit the stores worldwide.
